A Hyderabad Wedding - Shaoib Malik and Sania Mirza

The Google search for the city of Hyderabad at this point in time apparently has nothing to do with what it has to offer tourists but the curiosity about the wedding that is about to take place here between Sania Mirza the Tennis Icon of India and the cricketer Shaoib Malik of Pakistan on or around April 15. This wedding has kicked off a lot of dust among those who see it in a different light inasmuch as they wonder how Sania could be at all loyal to her country once she gets married to a Pakistani and how this will pan out. There is curiosity as to how Sania will turn out as a Pakistani bride and whether she would be given the freedom she enjoyed as an Indian. Once married to a Pakistani she is bound to lose her nationality which she claims she will hold on to at any cost. She really does not know what is in store for her.

Apart from this there is also trouble brewing about illegal mining by the Reddy Brothers. Setting aside these issues it is but fair that one talks of what Hyderabad has to offer to those who wish to explore this unique city. Unique for its ability to blend both the old and the modern new, where tradition and technology walk hand in hand.

It is indeed a shopper’s delight having exquisite diamond markets, bangles and the famous Hyderabad pearls.

It also boasts of its natural beauty with prehistoric rocks and lakes not to exclude its own flora and fauna, the Moghuls having left their foot prints behind. Where there have been Moghuls one cannot but notice elegance and greenery.
