If you want a safe organic pest control for stink bugs there are many options available. Often times people immediately turn to some sort of toxic spray which kills all bugs on contact and destroys whole colonies of eggs. The problem with this is it can be harmful to pets, children, yourself, and the environment.
Stink bugs are a generally harmless bug if left un-agitated. When agitated it lets off a odor hence it's name "stink bug". The best plant to grow for your stink bug pals is the sunflower. The stink bugs love the huge flowers and are attracted by its reflective bright petals. Sunflower gardens are extremely pretty and can be beautiful into the late fall by planting several varieties. Often times you can find sunflower seed pack variates packaged together. Simply throw seeds down on plot and water!
Adding a solar garden lamp to your sunflower garden is also a great organic pest control for stink bugs. This garden will be like a mini vacation home for your stink bugs so make sure it is far enough away from your home.
On another note if you have any sunflowers growing near your home you may want to think about cutting these down. Often times bird feeders will sprout up small sunflowers which can attract stink bugs. Place bird feeders away from the house if this is the case.

This has been a huge year for stink bugs in North Carolina. I've seen more recently than I had seen in my whole life up to this point! Next year I'll plant sunflowers to distract them from the front door.

Oh I hate stink bugs, they're so stinky. :D Stink bugs really hate pungent odor other than them, so try planting those herbs and plants!
